Wade Kaesebier-Software Piracy
This first site is probably the best site I found as far as good information about software piracy.
www.siia.net/piracy
This site give a good definition of software piracy and explains ways that people pirate software when they do not think that they are pirating.
http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/S/software_piracy.html
This last site is just an amusing site that gives you some other perspectives of software pirating.

Jeff Bennett - Remote Connectivity:Telecommuting
This first link is to AT&T, a leader in telecommuting. Their site is a valuable resource for an organization considering implementing a telecommuting program. There is also information for the telecommuter and the 'tele-manager'
www.att.com/telework/get_started/
The federal government is trying to promote telecommuting for government employees. This site is a resource for federal employees to determine if telecommuting is right for them. It also has a manual for managers.
www.telework.gov
This site contains links to successful telecommuting programs of different companies. If you click on 'research' from the home page it will list the results of many surveys that document the benefits of telecommuting programs.

Lisa Ham-Ergonomics: Prevention
Most of my information for my presentation came from journal articles. However, I did find a few web sites that gave me a lot of information on the topic of ergonomics.
www.osha.gov
This site is the homepage of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. There is a whole section on ergonomics and their 4 prong system revolving around ergonomics. Before I found this site, I knew of OSHA but I didn't know how much of an involvement that they had with ergonomic safety. I think this site is worth checking out!
http://www.hse.gov.uk/msd/
This site has a lot of information about musculoskeletal disorder (MSD).
http://eeshop.unl.edu/rsi.html
This site provides useful information about repetitive strain injuries (RSI).
http://www.doctorergo.com/
This was on of my favorites, just because its user interface was very "friendly." I found information about Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS). Before accessing this site, I had no previous introduction to CVS...I found this site quite interesting! I suggest that you all take the CVS Test...the results could give you some insight on how you are correctly (or incorrectly) using your computer!

Melinda Smith - Email Monitoring Laws and Policy Presentation:
This site is the American Civil Liberties Union website. It is very informative and provides information as to the rights of Americans in the workplace. It presents a model statute drafted by the ACLU on electronic monitoring protecting employee privacy.

The American Management Association performed the 2004 Workplace Email and Instant Messaging Survey, and the results of this survey are listed on this link.

Also, in the AMA site, you are able to learn more about the AMA, and it's benefits in becoming a member.

Six weeks after the September 11th, 2001 attacks on America, Congress passed the Patriot Act, which can have an impact on our use of e-mail and the information we share with others. This Act reaches far beyond the monitoring I've discussed in my paper. Refer to this website for more information on the impact this Act has on citizens and non-citizens living in the US.
